Pop (on) Over for Christmas Breakfast – Regular Popovers or Dairy free Option

Have you ever wanted that easy breakfast with the elegant look?  I say go for popovers.  First of all, you will need a pan, I recommend getting one with a non-stick coating and the mini popover pan size.  You can get one from Amazon for not too much.  Besides the popover ingredients you will need the fixings to put inside the popover after it is baked: butter, honey, and jam.

Regular Popovers

4 Eggs

2 cup Bread Flour

2 cup Milk (or non-dairy milk)

1 tsp Salt

Heat oven 450° F.  Grease popover pan generously with butter.

Beat eggs slightly with a fork.

Now mix in the remaining ingredients.  There will be a few small lumps, this is okay.

Fill the popover pans ¾ full.

Bake for 15 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 350° F for 15 minutes.

Remove from oven and take them out of the pan and serve hot.

ENJOY!

I love popovers, and they’re not nearly as daunting as people fear. Elegant indeed, and so delicious! Great tutorial!
